What Is a “PSA” Preventive Service Agreement
Ehret’s “PSA” Preventive Service Agreement is an annual contract for a maintenance tune-up on your heating system in the fall or winter and your cooling system in the spring or summer.

Heating Season
- Heat Exchanger is checked for carbon monoxide leaks
- Inspect & clean burners
- Inspect belt for wear
- Inspect blower motor
- Inspect flue for clogging or rust
- Monitor gas pressure at valve
- Test all safety controls and limits
- Clean pilot assembly and flame rod
- Replace customer-supplied furnace filters
- Inspect and check operation of thermostat
Cooling Season
- Inspect wire connections
- Check refrigerant level
- Inspect contact points for pitting
- Inspect capacitors for leaks or rust
- Inspect evaporator coils for proper air flow
- Inspect condense drain
- Test all safety controls

- Inspect and check operation of thermostat
